The comes the Roman Gladiator sword which the Roman Gladiators of that time used to carry with them. These swords are available at very affordable rates in stores nowadays for you to get your hands on. The following is a list of very basic steps that you have to follow with regard to storing your real swords:

1- Store in a Controlled Environment

The preferred place of storage for your swords is that it should be a room which is climate-controlled. Storing your swords in the basement or even in the attic is never a good idea as these places are well exposed to fluctuation in temperature and humidity. Also, it is highly recommended to use a ‘dehumidifier' in the place of the storage as this will remove all of the excess air moisture and prevent the swords from rust and corrosion.

2- Exhibit Regular Intervals of Removal from Storage Environment

The storage room should not be considered as the permanent home of the swords. Your purchased swords need to be removed from the storage at regular intervals to reduce the risk of molding. Make sure to let the swords air out at regular intervals.

3- Use Protective Oil

The mixture of clove oil and tad of mineral oil is deemed as the perfect oil for your real swords. Remember that those blades need to be regularly rubbed with a drop of oils as well. Few drops of oil will serve as an additional layer of protection and prevent the buildup of rust and corrosion.

4- Make Sure to Cleaning the Sword Prior to Storage

Never store the swords in a dirty state. If it has stains of dirt on it you have to remove it. Water and soap will suffice in cleaning off all of the dirt and dust. Also, make sure to dry the sword immediately after washing it. Make sure to remove the marks of fingerprints as well. Your swords must be super clean.

5- Store in Horizontal Direction

If you have found your desired real swords for sale, then you have to make sure that their proper and suitable storage position is as crucial as the previously mentioned aspects. It is highly advised to place the sheathed sword in a horizontal position with the sword's edge facing the ceiling.
